Portal - Web application for the youth of Serbia

Portal Mladi Srbije is an online newspaper portal that is tailored specifically to youth in Serbia. The portal was created in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth to provide an accessible, comprehensive source of news and information for young people in the country. The content on the portal is tailored to the interests and needs of young people and covers a wide range of topics from entertainment and lifestyle topics to education and career advice. It also features articles, opinion pieces, and interviews with prominent figures in the youth community. The portal also provides links to other websites and resources for young people as well as information on upcoming events and activities.

The process of crafting a comprehensive brand identity for Portal Mladi Srbije was undeniably demanding, yet immensely rewarding. Our objective encompassed envisioning the brand's entirety, including distinctive colors, fonts, logo, and newspaper accreditations, all while encapsulating the essence of youth and Serbia. To achieve this, we innovatively revamped certain concepts sourced from the ministry, injecting a modern and distinctive touch. The outcome materialized as a straightforward, yet impactful brand that aptly encapsulates the portal's mission and effectively communicates its purpose to users.

The design portal was created with the intention to provide the user with an intuitive and visually pleasing experience. It allows users to easily access the news they are most interested in and to quickly find the information they need. The three derived colors from the flag of the Republic of Serbia, red as dominant, blue as secondary, and white as the background, are used to create a distinct visual identity for the news portal. This helps users quickly identify the website and gives it a recognizable and memorable look. Furthermore, the website is structured in such a way that it provides users with an easy-to-navigate interface, which helps them quickly find the desired news. The news is organized into different categories and subcategories, which allows users to quickly find the news they are looking for. In this way, the design of the portal helps users quickly and easily access the news they try to find.

In order to provide a more enjoyable and user-friendly experience, we have also implemented several interactive elements such as likes, dislikes, and comment sections. This allows readers to engage with the content directly and provides them with the opportunity to share their opinions and views. Furthermore, we have also included a “recommended” section, which gives readers the opportunity to discover other relevant news articles and topics. We have also included a “share” button, which allows readers to easily share the article with their friends and family. Lastly, we have implemented a “subscribe” button, which allows readers to receive notifications whenever a new article is published. All of these elements have been designed to provide the user with an immersive and interactive experience.

The mobile application not only has all the features and speed of the web portal, but we have also taken extra steps to improve user experience. We have made sure the application design is intuitive, with a clear layout and easy-to-use navigation. Furthermore, the application is designed for maximum performance, so that users can get the most out of their devices with minimal effort. We have also incorporated the latest technologies and features that are specifically tailored to the needs and preferences of our users. Finally, the application offers full compatibility and support for all major platforms, including Apple, Android, and Huawei.

The final part of this project is of course the admin panel—an essential part of the entire portal and application that is responsible for fast response and news display. The visual part is not the most important part of the whole story, but what is under the hood, we cannot fully convey to you. However, the visual display itself is very pleasant and easy to use. Hence, journalists working on the portal have no problem mastering all of it, even if they do not have any technical knowledge.We will still show you a small part below but we will keep the sensitive data safe.
